AltAusterity Interview Series: Talking Austerity with Dr. Brendan O'Rourke

This week we feature the first interview in a series, talking with Dr. Brendan O'Rourke about how austerity has been promoted in Ireland. We discussed the impacts it has had on the state, and the varying opinions of current political parties and their austerity policies. We also learned a bit about Brendan's current research on austerity and even heard his overall assessment on the turn to austerity--whether he sees alternatives emerging, and what prospects and obstacles he sees coming.
