Tax Justice Network examines the links between austerity and corporate taxes

Hello Austerity readers! Today we have Alex Cobham's paper on Corporate Tax in the UK. The Director of the Tax Justice Network (TJN) discusses how corporate tax policy in the United Kingdom has contributed to austerity policy. This paper builds on what Alex discussed in his presentation, where he looked at the UK's aggressive spending and tax cuts in response to the 2008 financial crisis.
