New CLA Faculty Member

The Department of Religious Studies is thrilled to announce the addition of Dr. Meirav Jones to our ranks as a 3-year research CLA (Contractually Limited Appointment).

Dr. Jones will be teaching two undergraduate courses for us this year: our new course Religion and Law (SCAR 3RL3) in the fall, and Religion and Diversity (SCAR 2RD3) in the Winter.

Before coming to McMaster, she most recently held joint fellowships at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem and the Hartman Institute, Jerusalem, and had held previous research fellowships at Tel-Aviv University, Yale University, New York University, and the University of Pennsylvania. Her research centres on the history of political and religious thought.
