CRDCN 2020 Conference
The Canadian Research Data Centre Network (CRDCN) in partnership with Statistics Canada is proud to present its 20th anniversary virtual conference.
To celebrate 20 years of research impact, free registration to the conference is being offered. Throughout October there will be:
- 12 panels with Canadian and international speakers
- Live Q&As and Twitter chats
- An exciting 3-Minute Thesis competition
- Networking opportunities with research and policy colleagues

Upcoming hours changes
Please note the upcoming changes to the usual centre operating hours this month:
- CLOSED for Thanksgiving Day, Monday October 12th.
Saturday Hours - ON DEMAND
We are offering on-demand Saturday hours on certain dates. We will be open on an 'appointment' basis, only if requested - this will be done through the same online booking system as mentioned above (booked.mcmaster.ca/rdc/)
Offered dates for Saturday hours this month are:
- Saturday, October 24th - 12pm to 4pm
New Data Sets at the RDC
Canadian Health Survey on Children and Youth (CHSCY)
The Canadian Health Survey on Children and Youth explores issues that have an impact on the physical and mental health of children and youth, such as physical activity, the use of electronic devices, time spent in school and extracurricular activities. Information from the survey will be used to develop programs and policies to help improve the lives of Canadian children and youth.
