New data sets at the RDC:
Canadian Social Survey - Quality of Life and Energy Use (CSS-QLEU)
The Canadian Social Survey (CSS) is a data collection project intended to understand social issues more rapidly by conducting surveys on different topics. From April 21 to June 4, 2023, Statistics Canada conducted the Canadian Social Survey – Quality of Life and Energy Use (CSS-QLEU). This survey was the ninth wave of the CSS.
The purpose of CSS-QLEU is to collect information from individuals and families on quality of life, energy use and household energy expenditures. Results from the survey will help decision makers develop programs and policies to better serve Canadians. The information from CSS-QLEU may be used by all levels of government and various organizations to guide policy development on a range of social and economic issues.
If you would like more information on how to submit a proposal for access to this data see https://www.statcan.gc.ca/eng/microdata/data-centres/access. For more information about the RDC program please contact your local RDC analyst.
